Hello there! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Emily Johnson. The name "emisaralynn" you will often see connected with my online profiles is the combination of my full name, Emily Sarah Lilian.

I am a 2013 Broadcast Journalism graduate from Sheridan College. I graduated with an above 90% average, a Shaw Media Scholarship for academic achievement and an award for Best TV News Reporter. Since then I have completed an internship with the Daily Planet show on Discovery Channel, worked with a local production house called Nettel Media and reported on a live morning show with WhiteRock Media, and been the media specialist for all properties under Pumpkinseed Media Group. I am still a part-time host and reporter for Rogers TV Peel but am searching for a new full time position.

 

When you meet me, you will find I am very personable and professional. I’m never nervous meeting new people or being in front of a crowd, microphone or camera. I have a lot of energy and motivation which I put into my work. I use the fast-paced environment to fuel my excitement to work efficiently and with precision, as I have proven in the past. I have skills in both technical and editorial disciplines that I have been expanding on for the past three and a half years. I am a team player who is excited to learn from others as I move forward with my career.
